Where's Your Smile?

We have been reading a special book lately that has become one of Elise's favorites. It is about a baby getting ready for bed, and she gets many kisses on different body parts. For instance, she gets ten kisses on her toes, and two kisses on her ears. This book was a gift from Emilie and her family. Elise loves it, and has learned several new body parts, including her knees and her tummy, from reading this book. We read the part about the baby getting kisses on her toes, and then I ask Elise, "Where are your toes?" Sometimes she gets confused and points to her nose (admitedly they sound alike), but she is getting really good and more often than not will point to her toes, and is getting the right part when I ask. The other day I was trying to get a picture of her in a new outfit from Grandma Parker, so I got the camera, and to get Elise to smile, I asked, "Elise, where is your smile?" This is where she pointed:

I asked her again, and she looked down at her tummy with a confused look on her face, then looked up and pointed to her ear....the results here:

Needless to say, she's a bit confused about where her smile is, but it sure is cute when it comes out!

Cute! It is good that she is learning what body parts are called. When I was three and my parents asked me (while pointing to the nose) what it I was I said snore holes! Haha... kids are hilarious. Your little girls is sure adorable!
