It was nice on Saturday, May 24, so we went to down town Juneau, to walk around, enjoy the sunshine, and each others' company. We went to our favorite stores, got some ice cream, saw the cruise ships and lots of tourists, and on the way back to the car stopped at the kettle corn stand. Since we live in a tourist town, lots of shops and food stands are only open when there is a cruise ship in town. That is why it is important to take advantage of the once in a blue moon weather (we live in a rain forest), and window shop when you can actually enjoy going inside too. So, we had a great time, and got a big bag of kettle corn which we enjoyed that evening as we watched the new National Treasure movie. When we got home from the trip, we unloaded the car, and started getting ready for dinner. Elise picked up both the large kettle corn bag, and the smaller caramel corn bag. It was quite funny to see her walking up and down the hall carrying these bags, especially because the big one was almost as tall as she is!
