New Technology

In an effort to prepare for our upcoming 'vacation', we've been getting things ready, technologically speaking. I am joining the age of electronics, and am finally converting my music library to an iTunes library and putting it all on an iPod, which will make it easier to cart around the lower 48, and to still have music in the car for Elise while we're in the process of moving. This has been an interesting process, and I guess I hadn't realized how much music I have. It is kind of fun to have it all on one small device, even though its been a long process. It is incredibly convenient, and hopefully we can learn more songs together, as we sing a lot in the car over the next several months. So, I guess I'm very grateful we have that option, as this leaves more room in the luggage for her board books, and some flannel board stories. This also opens up the options for the long day of flying and entertainment for Elise, as there are podcasts of Sesame Street we can download, so if we are desparate as we sit in Portland for 6 hours, we can watch a bit of the letter of the day!

iPods are the best. I love mine and it is a super old version. I bet that will come in really handy one your long trip.
