My little one has recently been asserting her independence. She is becoming extremely resistant to sitting in the high chair, and has learned to crawl her way onto a normal, big girl chair, and even to get down relatively safely. The other day she refused to sit in the high chair, and insisted that she have a bedtime snack in a big girl chair. She is a bit short for this, but enjoyed to experience all the same. I thought it was pretty funny, and a bit scary how independent she is getting, but I guess that's all part of growing up!
She has also started pretending to take pictures of me with a camera, when I am trying to take a picture of her. It makes it a bit tricky to get a smiley face!...at least on her end!
